About your Beekeeper

I'm Corey (She/Her) I'm your bee steward. Are you ready to deepen your relationship with nature and practice a sacred craft that seeks to heal and sustain our earth?

My mission is to help others become inspired, educated, and embodied through the sensational experience of beekeeping. I work to help others design their own bee craft around consent, curiosity, and embodiment.

My bee practice is not for the one inspiring to become a commercial farmer, but for the everyday backyard beekeeper. It is for the one who wants to be in a somatic relationship with the bees and be apart of a radicalized form of environmental activism that sees earth not as our mother, but as our lover.

What does it mean to be in a lovership with nature?

And now you ask in your heart,

"How shall we distinguish that which is good in pleasure from which is not good?"

Go to your fields and your gardens, and you shall learn that it is the pleasure of the bee to gather honey of the flower.

But it is also the pleasure of the flower to yield its honey to the bee.

For to the bee a flower is a fountain of life,
And to the flower a bee is a messenger of love,

And to both, bee and flower, the giving and the receiving of pleasure is a need and an ecstasy.

People of Orphalese, be in your pleasure like the flowers and the bees.
